Description
Super Category External Links is an extension for Magento that allows you to to specify a category external url that links to an external site or static urls.
With this extension, category urls can be specified to an external/internal link. This extension also allows you to open external links on a new tab or same window.
Features:
- Admin will be able to enable or disable this setting.
- Admin will be able to add external/internal link for any category.
- Using this extension admin can set whether the links open in new window or same.
- For internal urls you can use {{store url=’‘}}. e.g. if you have “Contact Us” category, in external link field just need to put {{store url=’contacts’}}.
- Multiple website, mutli-store supported.
- Compatible with Magento 1.4.x, 1.5.x, 1.6.x ,1.7.x.
Quick-Start:
Just copy all the extension files in the root directory of your magento installation. For example, if your magento is installed on yourdomain.com/magento, upload all the extension files in the magento directory.
This extension will not replace any file currently present on your magento installation.
- After you upload the extension files to your magento installation folder, Refresh the cache from Admin->System->Cache Management.
- Logout and login again from Backend to reload the ACL.
